We do not want to miss God. He is manifested in our intentional believing. All that is relevant to our current problems are found in His word. We need to give the Word of God a try. And to see that It works on a daily basis.
Revisiting my age old blog seems so unreal. Thought I should pen down my thoughts as I approach 2012. After awhile, I'd like to see my posts recording a trail of victories. I realised Alan has secretly been blogging about half year ago. Lets see if he manages to find out that my blog is revived..
Today at Gloria Jeans, dearest girlfriend penned down her dream for 2012 to be prettier, smarter and richer. Mine was simply to be the most Joyful person I know.
I pondered my goals for 2012 many times. I know I need to renew my mind in many areas. In 2012 I just want to be able to enjoy every moment that I am in.
Was particularly touched today at sister's church service during communion. 用信心来另领受 were his words when I was handed the elements. I felt the strong presence of God come upon me like it was a special Word for me. I haven't felt this in a long time. I needed this. I need to face everything with serious faith in 2012. I believe this appointed moment was placed to encourage me. As i simply enjoyed the moment, i began to realise I cannot rely on unstable feelings. Faith is not just a feeling, it is facing life with your teeth grit and a smile on your face. I can do whatever I NEED to do in life!
God is not concerned that you had a stunted spiritual growth. He is not concerned that you are lagging behind. He doesn't focus on you being stuck. He has prepared a way for your victory!
